Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the Lens Social Data Dashboard ("the Dashboard"), a restricted-access tool operated by TheSMC. The Dashboard is provided for use by authorized client marketing personnel, who sign in and authorize Google access with their own Google Accounts outside TheSMC's organization. This page covers its YouTube integration.
1. YouTube Terms of Service
The Dashboard uses YouTube API Services. By using the Dashboard you are agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, available at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.
Google's handling of information obtained through YouTube API Services is described in the Google Privacy Policy. How the Dashboard itself handles that data is described in our Privacy Policy.
2. Authorized use
Access to the Dashboard requires TheSMC-issued credentials. Connecting a YouTube channel requires a separate administrator role. By signing in or by connecting a YouTube channel you confirm that you are authorized by the client to do so and that the channel you connect is owned by that client.
The Dashboard is an operating tool that TheSMC provides to its clients. TheSMC acts solely as the client's agency operator and does not claim ownership of any YouTube channel or content connected through the Dashboard.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Dashboard only for legitimate client marketing operations. You will not attempt to access data outside the scope of client-owned YouTube channels, will not share Dashboard credentials, and will not export data from the Dashboard except as permitted by your client team policies. The Dashboard is read-only with respect to YouTube: it does not publish, edit, or delete channel content.
4. Revoking access and deletion
Client administrators may disconnect the YouTube integration at any time. Access can also be revoked directly through the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. To request deletion of stored data, follow the process described in the Privacy Policy.
5. No warranty
The Dashboard is provided to client personnel "as is" for marketing reporting use. TheSMC makes no warranty regarding fitness for any other purpose.
6. Changes
These terms may be updated as the Dashboard evolves. Material changes will be communicated directly to the client marketing team, and the effective date above will be revised.
